I told the River Kids about this 12-year-old author and her speech about valuing kids' perspectives and contributions...it's worth the 8 minutes it takes to watch.

Welcome to the official River Kids website. Our mission statement, along with information about us, is in the links box near the top of the page. Updates, events, and weekly meetings and plans are posted often, if you look to this site to keep you or your River Kid up-to-date. Teachers of river kids are automatically given an email-address, you can sign in by clicking the "Start Page" button at the top of this page. River Kids are doing some amazing things. They are really beginning to pile up a long list of accomplishments for the year. They should be proud of what they've done and who they are becoming as the River Kids organization evolves. Feel free to comment and ask questions about our updates, i.e., what time you should be there, etc. Don't forget to follow our blog!
