About Us

• 45+ Kids, Grades 4-10
• Regular meetings twice a month
• Monthly RK Board Meetings
• Additional meetings related to preparation for big events

3-Part Mission:

• Learn about rivers and associated issues
• Teach others about these issues and/or their solutions
• Take action (Clean the Rivers!)

We participate in River Cleanups and other river-related events whenever possible:

• Annual River des Peres Watershed Coalition Cleanup
• Annual Fall Tree planting at the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers
• Earth Day Festival: Education Booth
• Educational Festivals/Activities around town
• Living Lands and Waters Cleanup

We also host our own events annually:

• The Spring Cleanup and Honeysuckle Removal on the River des Peres
• The Benefit Dinner
• The Education Festival at New City School
• The Spring Canoe Trip
• The Polar Bear Pickup
